ABOUT THE EVENT

Still Parenting: After the Move-In is a Middletown Works Single Parent Network circle created for single parents and caregivers navigating the changing experience of raising teenagers and emerging adults.
Parenting doesn’t end when a child turns 18, moves into college, begins working, lives independently, or spends more time away from home—it changes. These transitions can bring pride and excitement alongside grief, uncertainty, changing boundaries, financial concerns, and questions about who we are as our children need us differently.
This first gathering welcomes parents and caregivers whose children:
• Recently moved into college
• Started working or living independently
